ADVERTISING
HUDSON VALLEY DISTRICT COUNCIL OF CARPENTERS
The Hudson Valley District Council of Carpenters called on Joe to illustrate the cover and an ad for their 1959 program, and the entire 1962 program.  The illustrations were done by Joe on craftint paper, a process that has a paper with a patern in it brought out with 2 solutions. A clear single tone and a dark tone.  Joe used craftint quite often on many advertising and record album covers. It gave a great effect to the finished art.  Hopalong Cassidy artist Dan Spiegel and Capt. Easy and Buzz Sawyer artist Roy Crane also used craftint in their work.

Albany Public Markets Giant
The Albany Public Markets Giant was created by Joe Sinnott in the early 1970's for the Albany Public Markets Grocery Store chain which originated in Albany, New York.  The stores expanded to many different locations around the upstate New York area. Joe's creation of the "Price Smashing" Giant was seen on the stores itself, as well as billboards, paper bags, newspapers etc. It seems a certain "Thunder God" must have loaned the Giant his hammer and leggings. Albany Public Markets were sold to Weis Markets in the late 1970's.  Enjoy the artwork.
